Man Nabbed For Stealing Tires, Rims From Tappan Gas Station
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The owner of a Tappan service station watched as a New Jersey man stole numerous rims and tires from his business as he called the police, Orangetown Police said.
James Glover, 56, of Paterson, N.J., was nabbed around 7:30 p.m. Friday, after the owner of the station on Route 303 called the police to report the crime, police said.
Police were able to locate Glover on Route 303, with all of the stolen property still in his vehicle, police said.
He was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen goods.
He is being held at the Rockland County Jail.
Newburgh Drug Operation Nets Heroin, Crack, Marijuana, And Cash
NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Newburgh police busted nine people Thursday in a narcotics operation after receiving numerous complaints from members of the community, according to Newburgh Police.
Members of the City of Newburgh Police Department, Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force, and New York State Police conducted the operation on Johnston Street to address the complaints, said Sgt. Christopher Lahar.
During the operation officers recovered seven grams of crack cocaine, 81 baggies of heroin, one large marijuana plant, and $1,900 in cash, police said.
